Student Loan Repayment Program
The student loan repayment authority
permits agencies to repay the student loans of Federal employees in
order to attract or keep highly qualified individuals. In order to
receive student loan repayment benefits, an employee must sign an
agreement to remain in the service of the agency for a period of not
less than 3 years. This authority is not an entitlement. As
with any incentive, it is used at the discretion of the agency. Click
