Full Description:
Provides support to Court for scheduling of regular and 
special court sessions.  Prepares notices,case lists, and 
courtroom minutes for scheduling cases before panels of the 
Court.  Prepares, sends, and dockets correspondence and 
information between the Court and counsel/litigants.  
Coordinates electronic posting of court schedules on the 
Court’s internet website and kiosk.  Coordinates chambers 
assignments and information for visiting judges.  Some 
travel may be required for court sessions within the Third 
Circuit.

Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen, or a citizen of a country with a 
defense treaty with the U.S., who is eligible to work in 
the U.S.  

Employees will be hired provisionally pending the results 
of a background check.


Require a high school diploma or equivalent, with some 
college preferred.  A paralegal certificate from an 
accredited provider may be substituted for general work 
experience.

General Experience:
Progressively responsible clerical, office or other work 
that indicates the possession of, or the ability to, 
acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to 
perform the duties of this position.  Four years of general 
personal computer and work experience.  Requires highly 
motivated person with the ability to communicate 
effectively, both orally and in writing.  Good 
organizational skills and the ability to work well with 
people is necessary.  Case management and court operations 
experience in the federal court system is preferred.

Specialized Experience:
One to two years of progressively responsible specialized 
work experience involving the routine use of keyboard 
skills and use of specialized terminology, and demonstrated 
ability to apply a body of rules, regulations, directives 
or laws.  Such experience is commonly encountered in law 
firms, legal counsel offices, banking and credit firms, 
educational institutions, social service organizations, 
insurance companies, real estate and title office and 
corporate headquarter or payroll operations.  Prefer 
specialized work experience in case management or 
scheduling.
